VR POLE, AN XR COMPANY FROM CROATIA, HAS BECOME ARTIVIO;

Zagreb-based extended reality (XR) startup VRPole has changed its name and visual identity, and is now called artivio; Studio.

Founded in 2017 by Dragan Vejnović and Milan Gudeljević, the company’s goal was to promote virtual and extended reality technologies in tourism. Its main product, VR Pole, a display device for historic locations in virtual reality, has been awarded at many trade fairs, startup competitions, and festivals throughout the EU.

VRPole has always had a clear vision: to promote the simple use of augmented (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies as tools for an additional immersive and experiential experience. This vision, woven with a strong company culture, has been taken to a new level and now reflects what they are recognized for in the market – they have become a creative technology studio.

Our rebranding is not just aesthetic. We have taken a strategic step towards what we are already recognized for among partners and clients. Our aim was to reflect this in our identity, so that the quality of our work is recognized among the wider population,” said Dragan Vejnović, Creative Director of artivio;.

Artivio is a name that came about after a series of discussions about the purpose of the company and what it is recognized for in the market. The name consists of all the components that the studio is involved in. The “ar” in the name symbolizes the use of new technologies, as well as visualization in architecture as one of the stronger components of this studio.

The term “tivi” refers to the production of animated content and films for television and promotion, while “ivi” represents the gaming component and the department for producing mobile and computer games and interactive applications.

The concept of the name was rounded off with “art,” the most recognizable feature of this studio in the market.

We have experienced stable growth in the market in the last six years. We have created a number of comprehensive creative technological solutions for ourselves and our clients, and now we want to show it on our brand, to show companies throughout the EU who we truly are and how we can help them,” added Milan Gudeljević, CEO of artivio;.

The official launch of artivio; studio is planned for March 2, 2023, when a humanitarian exhibition of Artivio’s digital works will be held. The exhibition will take place at the Multimedia Culture Centre in Zagreb.

“We have decided to redirect the entire budget for marketing rebranding into organizing this humanitarian exhibition. In addition to classical digital works by our artists, the exhibition will also have a technological metaverse section, and all proceeds from the sale of works will be redirected to humanitarian causes,” Gudeljević said.

The main goal of artivio; with this rebranding is to strengthen its position on the market and continue its stable growth and penetration into the European market as the only Croatian full-service studio for creative technologies.
